The Last Day of High School
We all celebrated that morning, with cake in "The Emo Corner" It was a weird feeling.
The Day After the Last Day
I went back to high school the next day, since everyone else still had school. We had graduation practice, but afterwords we walked around and I hung out with some kids. Miriam bought me mashed potatoes!
Graduation Day
I went to graduation with Erica, the ceremony was nothing spectacular. It felt strange to be leaving the high school.
Graduation Parties
I went to Rachel's grad party and Tony's bonfire the same day as graduation. Nikki's was the next morning. Katie's and Jenny's were the next weekend. The fire was HUGE seeing as Tony was burning the house he made for Building Trades and swimming with everyone was such a blast!
Good Day / Bad Day
Andi, Amber, and I went to Milwaukee Zoo to give blood. After we went to Mayfair mall, and then The Rave for the Let's Make a Mess Tour. It was a fun show, however, we got back to the car and found that it had been broken into and all of our purses had been stolen. A few days later, someone facebooked me and said he had found our things in his dad's property on the North side of Milwaukee. Amber and I met up with him to get it back. We got back a few IDs, my house keys, and a few other random cads, but not the purses or wallets themselves.
My Graduation Party
I had my graduation party at the end of June. We stayed in the bounce house almost the entire time! Erica's was a day after or before mine, I think.
Mount Olympus
I went to The Dells for the day with Amber and Miriam. It's the longest I've driven(not too far, but still) and I love hanging out with those two, they're so silly! Haha.
Fireworks
On the third of July, Amber came with my family to the lakefront in Milwaukee to wach fireworks. We had a lot of fun, my drunken aunt was entertaining, and the fireworks were spectacular!
Summerfest
I went to Summerfest twice this summer. The first day, I went with Amber, Lemke, Nikki, and Miriam and saw Sick of Sarah and Dan Rodriguez. I hung out with Miriam most of the day, since everyone else was seeing a different band. I went again with Joe of all people, because Andi was out of town and she's the only other person who wanted to go. I saw The Frantic because I love them a lot. After, I talked to Brett for like, 45 minutes...well he talked at me because that's kind of how he is :D
Powerchord Academy
I went to Andi's final performance at Powerchord Academy with her family and Eric a few days later. It was fun and she was so good!
Jake's Going Away Party
We hung out at the park all day and then went back to his house at the end of the night to watch a movie and a half. It was such a fun time, and I realized how fun it is to hang out with people you rarely hang out with or see often. It's nice to change things up like that once and a while.
Purple Car!
My dad surprised me with a purple car. It's such a nice car, and I love finally having a way to get places.
More Grad Parties
It was fun stuff. I hadn't seen Eric, Sarah, or Ashley all summer and Andi had been gone for a while before it so it was fun! Oh yes! I also went to Chris' grad party, which was another bunch of people I barely know but it was such a nice day out and I had lots of fun. It was different than all the other grad parties because they managed to spend a majority of the time playing speed chess. LOLWUT?
Cassi Visits
My friend, Cassi, from Ohio stopped through Wisconsin on her way to Utah for college with her friend, Nikki. It was great to see her, Stephanie and Jesi again. Stephanie and Cassi especially were a huge part of my life growing up so it was great to be able to see them one more time before they left for college.
Warped Tour
Andi, Amber and I went to Wisconsin and Illinois Warped together. We spent the night at one of Amber's internet friend's house and it was fun but slightly awkward. Definitely not something many people do! After Illinois Warped, we dropped Amber off, slept at Andi's for two and a half hours, and then headed to Minnesota for what we thought would be our last day. A week after this, Andi found out she had won a photo contest and we were going to SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA WARPED TOUR.
Madison Zoo
The day after we got back from California, Katie and I went to the Madison Zoo and got very lost on the way there. You see, it's impossible to go to Madison without getting lost - as much as I'm looking forward to seeing The Weakerthans in Madison at the end of the month, I'm not looking forward to the getting lost on they way there assumably alone.
Camping!
CAMPING WAS SO MUCH FUN. The first night, it was Amber, Katie, Jenny, Tony, Vicky, and myself (Nikki and Erica stopped by, but didn't stay) and it was hilariously great. The next day, Amber and I left around 1ish I think, and then came back around 6 but didn't sleep over.
Final Hang Out
Two nights ago, EVERYONE walked around. Myself, Nikki, Lemke, Eric, Ken, Katie, Amber, Jenny, CJ, Hedi, and Andi all walked around. We walked around the lake, to Webbs, hung out at Webbs, sat on some benches, walked around downtown and around an area where we never walk around, to the gas station, and back to the benches. What an adventure. It was weird to be with so many people I dont' talk to much anymore (or at all in the case of Ken, CJ, and Heidi) there were some questionable events but I spent most of the night laughing. It was a nice way to end Summer Vacation.
Saying Goodbye
The one moment I had been dreading this summer. My two best friends are moving the farthest away for college. Andi is going to Minnesota (she's probably there right now, she left this morning) and Katie is leaving Sunday for Oshkosh. Last night, Andi and I walked around the lake and then said goodbye. It sucks hardcore but she'll be back for her birthday, Thanksgiving, and of course, winter break. I can't wait :D
It truly was a FANTASTIC summer. It's one I'll never ever forget, everything I did was done with epicness. So many smiles and so much laughter. I relized who my real friends are and I got to spend so much time with my three best friends. I'm looking forward to starting school (First college class: Sociology!) tomorrow and hopefully meeting lots of people and making a lot of new friends :D
