My favorite thing that I posted this week was my three year Buzziversary journal because WOW, WIN. And also(totally cheating by putting two, I know!) this one I took in California because the clouds looked very painted on, even in real life.

Dearest Buzzneters,

Yesterday (August 25^th 2009) was my third Buzziversary.  Everday someone celebrates a year or more on the site, but damn, it still feels special.  It's weird to say that a website has changed your life. Not to seem corny, cheesy, or any-kind-of-food-y but Buzznet has been a big part of my life (Gah, I'm a NERD! Haha). Yes, I joined for band pictures, but it turned into a lot more. For the first year I was on it was all "My Chemical Romance" and  "Fall Out Boy" searches" also a lot of venting about how emo I was and standard sad poetry that accompanies the uniform black eyeliner and band tees. Well, I'm still rockin' the black eyeliner and band tees, I've been known to write a poem or two, but it's all different now.

My posts have grown as I have, I even went through a name change (BlackParadeGirl to RhiannaResolution). The site served as a diary when I needed it. Now that I've gotten over that depressing period in my life it's still served as a way to keep track of my life. I reference most things I do in my life and I love to look back and see all that I've done. I don't print out or save most of my photography pictures on my computer because I have SO MANY. I post them here. This is the only place that most of them exist. I post them here because it's nice to know people see my work, whether they critique it, hate it, or enjoy it, it's there. It's nice to share things. It's been so nice to show you parts of my life and to see parts of yours.

Buzznet has definetly given me a reason to keep up with photography and it's really helped me improve. Without this site, I highly doubt that I would have taken such an intrest in it. I would have no reason to. I've been through three cameras on this site, and last October I got my fourth. I've also been through two laptops and am on my third. Hopefully this one is here to stay for a long time.

I also think without Buzznet I wouldn't have had nearly as many opportunities. I've gotten photopasses for a few different shows with Buzznet as my portfolio (along with a more refined portfolio here). I won tickets to a Buzznet sponsered show in Chicago last September(which led me to meeting John and Kerri) and  Taste of Chaos tickets last winter (which led me to meeting Mark).

It's also managed to bring my closer to some of my real-life friends. Andi and I have become so close over the last year and a half and I know we would have anyway, but I can't help but thing Buzznet played a small role in our friendship. It's also, of course, introduced me to SO MANY wonderful people. I feel closer to some of you than I do to some people in real life. I want to thank Andi, Amber, Aly, Corey, Renata, JJ, John, Sara, Jenna, Mark, Rich, Claire, Kerri, Seb, Maya, Kelly, Dawn, and everyone else that I can't name because it would kill the Internet, for being so awesomesauce to me all the time. I would love to offer you all as many win sandwhiches as you would like. Thanks for all the smiles, laughs, and thought provoking opinions and comments.

I still smile every time I get a message saying I got a featured photo, a nice comment, or a note that's not about Buzzing someone's contest entry ;) This website has awkwardly done wonders for my self esteem and confidence. It's done a lot for my talent. It's most definetly taken up many hours of my life.

So here's to you, here's to Buzznet, and here's to how ever long I'll stay. Thanks for the lulz, the love, and everything else.

The whole song is about feeling great and having a good time. It's what summer is about.
I definitely the song I listen to before leaving the house for a show or party to get me pumped for the magic soon to come :D

I gotta feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night, and this summer's gonna be a good summer!

And one of my favorite things I've posted this week is the first post in my LOLShows Gallery!

This year, Andi and I embarked on a five day journey to three days of the wonderful Van's Warped Tour. (Oh hey, Amber came with for a few days too). At first, I thought I would write a regular concert write-up/summary of our experience, INSTEAD I've decided to share a poem I wrote about it. I'll even add some links and pics! Note: I wrote this poem the morning after our third day of Warped. It's not supposed to be epic win or even slightly good, so enjoy anyway :D

Warped Tour '09
What a great time
Went three days in a row
And saw a few ho's
Thanks to 30h3 and The Millionaires
But I do not care
Becuase Bayside and Sing It Loud
Made me scream very loud
I had lots of fun
Now our three days are done
No more bands handing out demos
With songs that we don't know
No more neon hair
Or boys going bare
No more free hugs
Or wanna-be thugs
Punk, pop, and alternative rock
Every band played, even when hot
Lack of sleep was worth it
To hear all those hits
I can't wait 'til next year
But for now I'll just listen to the ringing in my ears.
