Tomarrow will mark the beginning of my new photo project!

It probably wont be an every day thing, but I will try to post at least one a week.

And maybe I'll just announce the project concept right now, becuase why not? Haha.

So here it is; The photos will be of people I know holding a word. What? That sounds so boring! No, it's not just any random word they feel like writing. They pick the word and it can be one of four things.

• A word that defines them
• Their favorite word
• Something they say too often
• A word they think is important

It still probably sounds boring, but I think it's kinda neat. I think one word can tell a lot about people. Last year I asked people their favorite words and then wrote poems and incorporated the words. The poem I wrote using one persons words ended up sounding like it was about them and their lives, and it was unintentional. So I thought, maybe this would maybe give me a little more insight as to who my friends and family are, and maybe show you who the people I love are along the way.

1) I can't do week 20 Cool Stuff on Buzznet today, but I promise next Friday it'll pick back up again. It's a shame becuase I saw so many incredible posts this week, so consider yourselves all winners!    Note: It's not about winning, it's about sharing :D

2) I'm going to start a new photo project very soon and I'm rather excited! I came up with an idea for it last night after Amber sent me a link to this. It obviously won't be the same project, but I think you will see some similarities. It's not suposed to be a copycat thing, but more like it kind of pushed other ideas forward a little more. I did something similar a year and a half ago, only with poetry, not pohotos, so I can't wait to see how this works out.

+) Do any of you fabulous people listen to You Me At Six? I downloaded an Epitaph sampler a week or two becuase it had a new Farewell song on it and it had the song Finders Keepers on it. It sounded pretty good, so today I checked out their myspace and I dig 'em. I'm pretty happy they'll be at two of the three days of Warped Tour I'm attending. You should definetl check them out if you have a chance.

I just bought this new Gateway laptop from Best Buy, but I don't get it for 5 to 8 days. This is my first new computer, I built my first desktop, and bought to laptops used from Craigslist and a garage sale, so this is kind of awesome for me. The thing is, I've never had a Gateway and don't know too much about their reputation and the brand in general.  I kinda wondered why a 4 GB 320 was this much cheaper than a 3GB Dell, but whatever.

Does anyone have this laptop or a different Gateway? Does anyone have any awesome thoughts or opinions on what I'm in for? I'm pretty excited and hope it will be great.

(Also, I'll have a webcam, so maybe I'll be able to post more vlogs. I'll probably get a skype or some other video site, what kind do you use?)

Okay, so like I've been mentioning, my computer has an atrocious virus on it. I got it sometime yesterday, I think while looking for a Myspace background and clicking a bad link or something. I'm not sure. Anyways, it ended up slowing my computer down a lot and somewhat hacking into my Facebook and sending out messages/status updates with links to who knows what. Then after my mom spent about two hours trying to fix the virus(we don't have any special security stuff becuase we're poor and stupid, haha) and I went on my old super slow laptop, changing my passwords for everything the internet on the laptop stopped working which caused the internet on this one to stop working. Hard to follow? Maybe? I don't know.

So, now my mom is convinced the virus is off my laptop (even though the warning message continues to pop up) but she's kind of, mm, not niavve, I don't know the word, about that kind of stuff. So she logged in to Facebook on that laptop and I assume the same will happen to her. I refuse to log in to any accounts or use the internet in there unless I have to. I don't want to risk that.

So what this means all together, I probably wont be posting on Buzznet for a while, maybe something here or there, but this old laptop sucks. It is super slow, has an old verison of Internet Explorer, and like no room to save any kind of pictures. I'm going to try to get a new laptop by September, but will probably try to get an external hardrive much sooner than that. Does anyone know, if I were to put pics from the virus.attacked laptop on to a USB and put them on another computer, would the virus come to this one? This is a question that needs an answer people!

On a somewhat seperate, somewhat related note: Ive been thinking about possibly starting to sell 8x10 prints of my photos. I'm going to need money for a new laptop/college/life and I think it would be a good way to help get a bit of money. I want to know if YOU BUZZNETERS YOU think it's worth it? I would probably determine a price between $10 and $20, which seems like a lot to me but I don't really know. Leave your input in the comments, becuase I want to know if its worth it to try. Would you buy something, do you know anyone who would?

Okay, so it's supposed to be week 20, but I skipped last week so it's only week 19. I haven't been on too much lately so I don't have too much to post. Also, my computer may be dying from a horrible virus currently, so I guess I'll have to see how much I'll actually be on until I get a new laptop, which will probably not be for a while. Here we go....
