Last Friday night, on April 4th, four bands commanded the attention of the entire Eagles Ballroom. While MSI was playing downstairs, another tour took hold of the largest room at the Eagles Club in Milwaukee. Starting with Sleepwave an Tonight Alive, all four bands brought an incredible amount of energy to the room.
Fans really first started to get pumped up as Jenna McDougall of Tonight Alive danced and bounced around the stage, singing the bands catchy hits, and dawning a terribly tacky, floppy hat. Their set could be characterzed by one action; JUMP.

But energy really grew during Taking Back Sunday's set. Fog filled the stage as the band entered. The crowd, full of old and young fans, screamed as they took the stage. Fans excitement grew as they realized the band was playing new songs as well as old fan favorites. Adam Lazzara subtley commanded the attention of every person in the room, strutting across stage, and doing his infamous mic toss. This is one band popular in the emo years that has really stood the test of time and continues to perform well with high energy.

The night ended with The Used. Energy in the venue was at an all time high as crowds watched the stage be set. They had what can only be described as an AWESOME stage design of old stacked tvs. The lights inside the tv's started to flash, and as the band took the stage, lit up completly! Singer Bert McCracken knows how to get and keep the attention and energy of a crowd going! About three songs in, fairly early to their set, McCracken announced there was an emergency and called a fan to stage. After a relatively lenghty period of time, a girl was finally brought on stage, where her boyfriend proposed to her, after accepting, McCracken had the crowd welcome them to their engagement by screaming "Welcome to hell!"
The rest of their set was full of mostly old songs, which was fitting considering the crowd seemed to mostly be full of old fans. This kept everyone excited and anticipating what they would play next.
