January has been fun. I've done quite a lot of cool stuff including hanging out with the boyfriend, going to Boston, and getting a new tattoo.
If you haven't heard yet. Rich doesn't work for Buzznet anymore. Not sure how much longer I'll stick around. I have a feeling photopasses for shows wont be a thing anymore, but I'm in the process of trying to figure it out. I might still stop by once in a while because I NEED somewhere to share my photos and I love you guys, but he was one of the last good parts of Buzznet, haha. But I guess we'll see what happens. I'm mostly worried about the concert photography thing, oh well.
Anyways, it's been a good month, and here are some pictures to show you what I've been up to!
January was cold. Especially the very beginning of the month. Not just frost, but ice and snow formed INSIDE our windows.
Brad and I at Lorena's going away party.
Brad, Nikki, and I went to see The Front Bottoms and I think someone with heels or extremely hard boots stepped on my foot. It hurt the following two weeks.
At the show, I photobombed this girls picture and then demanded she send me a copy via twitter.
I got delusional mid-month and decided fuck you winter, it's summer now.
Apartment shot, featuring our newest animal heads and photo. I need a fifth photo to put up now that one of our cacti is off the wall, to even things out, but I haven't decided which photo to print yet.
I went to Boston! If you want to see a blog about the week and a bunch of pictures click HERE! And you better believe I'll be posting my better photos from the trip seperately throughout the next month.
The day after I got back to Boston, while at work, a big truck sped through our portduce and tore out a bunch of the panels, signs, and metal framing. Luckily, the panals with lights were undamaged. Didn't catch the guy (as of yet) but it made the shift a whole lot more hectic than it needed to be.
Got my photo of Grouplove in the school's literary arts magazine. Always nice to see my stuff in print.
Getting started on my new tattoo!
Was sick on my 23rd birthday. I had a party anyway, but we got busted by the cops for noise complaints. Rather than trying to argue with the cops, I let them tell everyone to just leave, this all happened around 11pm, so it ended fairly quick. It was still a decent time and at least t was memorable. Took this picture once everyone left since we didn't get any while people were there.
