Top Music of 2012

This year has had some pretty good musical releases, here are my top five!

5. Some Nights by Fun.
This album is mostly on the list because I love Fun. It's a good album, but it's only #5 because oh my glob, there is soooooo much fucking autotune. Tune it down, boys.

4. Great Ideas in Action by Archie Powell & The Exports
A great pop-punk band. You can get a song or two off of this album for free on bandcamp, and I highly recommend you do!

3. Folk-O-Rama by Various Artists
A FANTASTIC folk punk mix which was compiled by Paper Cielings, if I remember correctly. You can get it free on bandcamp. It has a bunch of bands you've never heard of it and it's super good!

2. New Cathedrals by Anthony Raneri
Because Anthony Raneri has the most beautiful voice in all of the land.

1. Go by Motion City Soundtrack
Did you really expect anything other than Motion City Soundtrack would win first on a year they released a new album?
