I hope some of you noticed I managed to get around to looking at some of your posts. I was "home" for the weekend so my internet didn't get blocked when I went on Buzznet and I tried to catch up on as many of your posts as possible, I swear! Anyway, here's the next book of my 50 Book Challenge...
By Neil Gaiman
Okay, so this is definitely a reread and a sad excuse for a book to count for this project. It's super short but it is really good! I love Neil Gaiman so it's kind of perfect. I was actually going through my friend Samuel's sketchbook when I found a face and said that it reminded me of Mirrormask, and he geeked out because I knew what Mirrormask, and then told me that the face was inspired by Sandman which is also Neil Gaiman. Samuel and I are pretty much perfect, if you didn't know. So yeah, he knows the movie but not the book so I told him I would bring it for him since I was going home anyway. So yeah, that's why I thought to reread it.
It's basically about this girl who is apart of the circus who wants to run away and join real life but then things get all topsy turvy crazy and strange.
Anyways, I really do like this book and movie. The art is fantastic. It's a great story of escape and appreciating what you have. I'd reccommend it to friends for sure!
Have you read this book or seen the movie? Have you read anything else by Neil Gaiman? What are you currently reading?
